Welcome to Cestria Cycling Club

Cestria Cycling Club was established in 1986 and is based in the Chester-le-Street area of England.

Club members meet every Sunday at 9am for a 9.15am club run at Chester-le-Street Market Place.

Twice per month we have a ‘steady ride’ to encourage new members to join us on a club run. ¬†Non-members are welcome to come along and try us out – take a look at Upcoming Events, or check out current news and views on the club Facebook Page.

There are two events particularly associated with the club; the Terry Proctor 9.4 mile Time Trial on the Leamside circuit which takes place in June, and the Lanchester Peth Hill Climb in October.

The club also hosts¬†Cyclocross races for both the North East Cyclocross League (NECCL) and CXNE as well as it’s own Time Trial mini-series.

Got a question about the club or an event? Having trouble with your bike or looking for an opinion on a bike or piece of kit? Post a question on our Facebook page and we will do what we can to help.
